The Bell House’s “Frame”
Doors, blankets, string, and shafts of light become frames that impose on our view and capture the hidden narratives within various relationships. “Frame” is a way of suggesting, interrupting, focusing smaller, and expanding beyond the frame to become more than a way to simply mark boundaries. The body and space beyond the frame becomes as important as what remains within its borders. Humorous, sorrowful, and challenging.

Game of Risk, performed by Ari Christopher, Alicia Chesser, Aleks Weaver & Mona Hatter of Tulsa Modern Movement
Shelter, a solo reflection on grief

String Theory by Amy Morrow, performed by Amy Morrow & Rachel Meador (produced), originally commissioned in 2015 for Avant Chamber Ballet’s Women’s Choreography Project and Morrow has since distilled the narrative from a pas de quatre to a pas de deux.
Perpetual Motion Dance’s “Fault Line”
With a signature grace and technical ingenuity, Perpetual Motion is in its 12th season of creating original modern and aerial dance repertory that is evocative and visceral. A recent recipient of the Mid-America Arts Alliance grant, Artistic Innovations, for their Spring 2015 concert "Fault Line", they integrate performance, film technology and aerial apparatuses using earthquakes as a metaphor for instability and unpredictable life changes. The dancers deconstruct a wall into small geometric pieces and continue to construct and deconstruct their environments.
